Health and Wellness

Welcome from the nursing team at The Geneva School. It is our great pleasure to serve the students, families, and staff of the Geneva community. Many years of hospital and critical care nursing experience, along with even more years as moms, have prepared each of us well for the variety of opportunities each school day brings.

Our primary role each day is to care for the students who are injured or become ill at school; we also meet daily routine needs for students with chronic medical issues. From cuts, splinters, and headaches, to blood sugar monitoring, routine medications, and asthma management, to allergic reactions, traumatic injuries, and mental health needs, we are prepared to care for a wide variety of student needs.

We are also here to help promote a healthy environment for our students and staff, to ensure student medical records comply with state law and school policy, and to train and educate our staff to be prepared for basic medical emergencies. Much of our work involves lifestyle management, and our goal is to optimize our students’ physical, intellectual, and spiritual growth through caring for them in body, mind, and soul. Let us know how we can assist you.
