Aftercare Program
Aftercare is offered to all lower school students every day after school until 5:30 pm with the exception of all-school early dismissal days (9/19, 12/20, 3/14, and 5/23) when no care is offered at all. Any other exceptions to this will be published ahead of time.
- Aftercare is considered an extension of the school day with all the same behavioral and uniform expectations for participating students.
- Aftercare is a service offered to Geneva parents for students enrolled at TGS. It is offered on an as-needed basis.
- Lower school students not picked up by 1:25 pm (K4), 2:25 pm (K) or 3:15 pm (1st–6th grade) will be taken to aftercare, and applicable fees charged.
- Kindergarten students with older siblings may go to aftercare and will not be charged if picked up along with older siblings by 3:15 pm (except for the first two weeks of school, when they will be charged). If kindergarten students are not picked up by 3:15 pm, they are charged per hour from 2:25 pm.
- For the first two weeks of the school year, when K4 and kindergarten finish the school day early, aftercare will begin at 12:25 pm (K4) and 1:05 pm (K) and applicable fees charged.
Aftercare fees for the 2024–2025 school year will be charged as follows:
- $8.50 per student per hour (rounded up to the nearest 15 minutes)
- All supervision ends at 5:30 pm after which the fee is $1.00/minute
