Tuition Assistance

From our founding in 1993, TGS leadership has committed to making Geneva available to as many people as possible through our generous tuition assistance program, and is also committed to exercising financial prudence while supporting and growing our resources—people, programs, and facilities—in order to achieve our mission to inspire students “to love beauty, think deeply, and pursue Christ’s calling.”

The Geneva School accepts awards administered through Step Up For Students. Step Up for Student awards are available to Florida residents, regardless of household income, who are eligible to attend a K–12 public school. The average private school award for the 2023–24 school year was $7,800.

In addition, TGS also offers tuition assistance to families with students in grades K4–12. Geneva utilizes the online service of FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to help determine how much assistance the school will provide to families. Students must meet Geneva’s admission requirements and be accepted.

A family may submit an application for tuition assistance from both Step Up for Students and FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. Parents are responsible for any amount not covered by tuition assistance. Please see the explanations below for information about each agency.

Step Up For Students

Step Up For Students is a state-approved nonprofit organization empowering Florida families to personalize their children’s education.

FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment

FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment is an independent, third party company that conducts unbiased and confidential financial analysis to determine a family’s need for financial aid. Geneva receives a confidential report outlining a family’s financial situation based on the information obtained in their application and supporting tax documents. The application fee is nominal, and any family who is unable to pay full tuition because of financial need is encouraged to submit an application. Decisions are based on a family’s financial need and school funds available.

If a family has already enrolled and the deadlines outlined below are missed or they decide not to apply for tuition assistance, full tuition is required to be paid (less any tuition assistance awarded) whether or not a student attends for all, part, or none of the school year.

Current FamiliesThe application for FACTS Grant & Aid opens in mid January.

Current families should submit the tuition assistance application by March 31.
