Girls Soccer—Winter
The Geneva girls soccer program strives to meet the needs of both the experienced player and those new to the sport. We focus on teaching proper technique and basic strategy as we build our team. The girls learn to work hard physically and focus on team goals. We strive to compete strongly in our district and region and encourage the appropriate expression of fun and joy that should be inherent in all team sports. Opportunities to play soccer begin in the grammar school and continue with our coed fall-season middle school team for sixth through eighth grade boys and girls. Girls may join the varsity team to participate in a training capacity as early as seventh grade. As coaches, we are excited to share our love of the game with the young ladies of Geneva. In 2022 and 2023, the teams were back-to-back district champions. In addition, in 2022, the team made it to the state semifinal.
